Today, Sally from Waterwise came to visit us!
First, we looked at the watercycle and discussed some new vocabulary like condensation, precipitation and evaporation!
We then acted out the journey water takes from rain to our taps, including going through the pipes and into the storage tanks!
After our journey, we explored the filtration process that water has to go through in order for it to be clean and safe for us to drink!
We discovered that paper and cotton wool were more effective for filtering the water than sand and bark!
How exciting Room 11! Looks like you have some really clean water, they must be good filters. Miss Crow
